Flat Track steel handlebars 1 inch, stepped to 7/8 inch in the grip area

This handlebar, with a typical American 1-inch cross-section in the clamping area, was inspired by the heavy motorcycles used in flat track races in the USA in the 1920s. When it comes to safely controlling motorcycles, this archaic handlebar shape from flat track racing is still an excellent choice.
Even back then, it was important to be able to control the motorcycles safely. The same is true today, and there is also the added convenience.

LSL has been offering sturdy steel handlebars in various handlebar versions since the 1990s. Even then, a version with a grip tube stepped down to 22 mm was also created. This design is now being revived in the form of the Flat Track handlebar.

Its diameter of 25.4 mm (1 inch) in the clamping area, with a wall thickness of 3 mm, results in a largely vibration-free and very stable handlebar construction. The taper to 22.2 mm makes it possible to operate vehicle types that are equipped with 7/8 inch fittings in the handle area.

It is typical for LSL that this handlebar variant is of course also offered with ABE. The tested models range from Kawasaki Vulcan and Indian Scout to the latest Harley models.

– Test the compatibility of cleaning agents on an inconspicuous area before use!
