LSL steering dampers
As a rule, the designers of particularly sport-oriented motorcycles with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles exert a violent influence of shimmy (handlebar flutter) and kickback (handlebar hits) – phenomena that impair driving pleasure and safety.
In order to get these influences under control, the steering damper is used in motor racing. LSL offers this instrument for use on the road.
The correct mounting of the steering damper is critical to its -optimal performance and error-free operation. LSL therefore develops individual brackets for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-related parts certificates, the assembly is described in detail in an installation manual.
Operation Titanium:
The compact race-tested version consists of a titanium anodized round damper cartridge with a damper rod in 8mm diameter.
The damping can be adjusted in 7 steps.
